The same space exists twice in my work. As a quiet photographic image and as a walkable 360-degree tour. Two ways to show a showroom.

The Quiet Picture

The Polestar showroom in Hamburg is a restrained space. Few materials, clear surfaces, a car as its calm center. In the photographic image I condense that. I choose one standpoint, one light, one moment, and leave everything else out.

A good single image is an assertion. It says: this, and no other way, is how this space should be seen.

A picture chooses. A tour lets you choose.

The Walkable Space

Alongside it there is the 360-degree tour. There I do not guide the gaze; I set it free. Whoever wants to can walk through the space, turn around, stop wherever their interest holds them. The tour shows no chosen moment, but the whole place, at any time and on any device.

Two Ways, One Attitude

Both ways have their purpose. The picture for the first, strong impression. The tour to build trust, because you can examine the space for yourself. Together they show the same place more completely than either could alone.

You can photograph a building at any time. But it only reveals itself in a certain light. Waiting for it is half the work.
