A DNA that grows with you
Everything that defines you sits in one place and is confirmed by you. When something changes, you say it once. Kenala knows everywhere it belongs.

Kenala · a tool by Roman Thomas
Kenala is your DNA that grows with you: everything that defines your business, in one place, confirmed by you. Your website grows out of it. Step by step, posts and printed matter follow. You say what changes, see it beforehand, and approve. Scroll, and I will show you how it works.
Kenala · 01 · What Kenala is
“Kenal” means “to know” in Indonesian and Malay. That is exactly what Kenala does: it knows your business, your language, your look, and the things that must always be right. Out of more than six hundred names that were checked, this is the one that remained.
Everything that defines you sits in one place and is confirmed by you. When something changes, you say it once. Kenala knows everywhere it belongs.
roman-thomas.de remains my presence as a photographer, designer, and artist. Kenala is the tool I use to work for clients. That is why it has an address of its own: kenala.de.
Your DNA, your approvals, and your access details are kept separately for each client and apart from my own website, with their own protection rules. What belongs to you stays with you.

How the name was found is a story I tell in the journal: Why Kenala Is Called Kenala.
Kenala · 02 · Your DNA
The DNA is the shared memory of your business: who you are, how you speak, how you look, and what must always be right. I ask, collect, and write it down. You read and confirm. Only then is any of it used.
Name, history, the people, your attitude.
Formal or informal, the tone, and words that never appear with you.
Colours, typefaces, logo. Pictures that fit, and pictures that never fit.
Services, works, or products. And what is no longer available.
Addresses, hours, contacts, figures. Every entry with its source.
Requirements of your industry, mandatory information, and what may never be claimed.
Who approves what before it goes out.
Fundamentals without an expiry date. Current matters with a review date.
I ask, collect, and write things down. You read and confirm. Whatever you have not confirmed is not used.
The opening hours are on the website, in the Google profile, on the flyer. The DNA remembers that. When something changes, it is clear where it needs to follow.
Some things may be prepared, some things never on their own: the legal notice, for example, or anything with legal weight. That is written in the DNA as well.

Kenala · 03 · Speak, look, approve
A practice changes its opening hours. Until now that has meant: have the website changed, check Google, write a post for Instagram, reset the patient information, print a notice, tell the team. Six places, often four different people.
With Kenala you say it once: “From October we are open until 6 pm on Wednesdays.” The new time goes into your DNA, and Kenala knows everywhere the opening hours appear. For the website, a preview is prepared, old and new side by side. For Instagram, a draft in the practice’s own tone. The flyer and the notice get a note: please renew.
You look at everything and say yes. Only then does it go out.

Kenala may prepare a great deal. Nothing is published without your yes.
Every change arrives as a preview, old and new side by side. Nothing happens out of sight.
Who approved what, and when? You can look it up later. That, too, is a relief when someone asks.
Kenala · 04 · Websites
The website is the most visible part of Kenala and the first module that is finished. I build it the way I have always designed, only with different tools: without WordPress, lean, fast, and set up so that it can grow with your tasks.
No database on the site, no login for attackers, no plugins. The most common attacks come to nothing, because the doors simply do not exist.
The pages load in under one second. Your visitors notice, and so does Google.
The site, the files, and the access details belong to you. Everything can be handed over, you are never locked in.
Because it grows out of your DNA and not out of a template. Colours, typefaces, and pictures come from the same source as everything else.
More on this, with an example, the process, and questions: Websites with Kenala.
How it runs here today
Text, image, video, and music are one stretch of road here, not four lanes side by side. A series of works becomes a reel, the reel becomes a plan, the plan becomes a post. Once the plan is approved, a process of its own publishes it: at fixed times on Facebook and LinkedIn, with nobody sitting next to it. The next morning the press watch reads along. Nothing goes online that was not approved in the plan first.

Kenala · 06 · The foundation
For you this means: you see every change beforehand. The legal notice, the privacy policy, and anything with legal weight are never touched by Kenala on its own. And personal data stays protected.
The legal notice, the privacy policy, and anything with legal weight are never prepared by Kenala on its own. Which places these are is written in your DNA.
Names, addresses, or patient data do not belong in third-party AI services. Where I work with documents like these, they are made unrecognisable on my own computer first.
Licensing, code, data protection, and after launch the watching. Every tool I use to work for you passes through this layer. Keep scrolling and you will see it.

The foundation
Nothing leaves the house unchecked.Licensing, code, data protection, and after launch the watching. No badge, no padlock: a layer every process has to pass. If something reports back, it goes into review again.
Kenala · 07 · The workshop
You no longer have to learn a piece of software. I build Kenala and all the tools behind it in conversation with an AI: I say in plain language what a tool should do, and the code grows out of that. Vibe coding, people call it. I work with Claude Code for this.
For you this means: you do not get a program off the shelf that you have to learn, but a tool that fits you. And when something is missing, it is added in conversation.
What that looks like I will show you with my own studio. Kenala grew out of it, and my website was the first to be looked after this way.
The whole story in the journal: I Was My First Client.
This is not a list of tools. Every point knows the others.
Three tools, in motion
No screenshots. Every interface runs while you scroll: forward on the way down, backward on the way up. You set the pace, not a video. And a few of the ensemble are watching.

Kenala · 08 · My team
The photographic look becomes video: a LUT built from twelve image pairs, 187 clips through the Film Editor, originals untouched.
A design line with a gate and a Juror. Four directions first, then the work.
The same way of working sits inside Kenala: tools that fit a particular business, instead of software off the shelf.
Jury folder, application portal, digital garden. Every caption checked, every work findable.
The whole house
Seven rooms, thirty-eight roles, one foundation. All of it grew out of conversation, built with Claude Code and checked by its own guardians. Kenala grew out of this studio. The sphere turns because the house keeps moving: what sits close together today will work together tomorrow.
Who the thirty-eight roles are: My team. And if you are looking for someone who thinks image, form, and tool together: let’s talk.
Kenala · 05 · Social and print
More grows from one centre.
Once the centre is in place, every further step gets smaller. A post for Instagram does not have to search for its visual language first. A flyer does not have to find its typeface first. A newsletter does not have to work out how you sound. All of that is already there.
This is how the next modules are added, one by one: posts for social media, printed matter, later press texts and newsletters. Each takes from your DNA what it needs instead of reinventing it. And each one comes only when you need it, not before.
What that can look like I will show you with my own work. Here, the road from idea to post already runs today.
