AI as a Tool, Not a Button.

For me, AI is a tool like a brush. Not a button that outputs a finished picture, but a material you work with until it resonates.
Tool, Not Button
AI is often talked about as if it were a button. Text in, picture out. That is not how I work. For me, the machine is a tool like a brush. It can do something I cannot do alone, but it does not take the decision away from me.
I work in layers. A first image, an intervention, a rejection. Then again from the start. This goes on until the picture resonates. What stands at the end is nothing I foresaw, but I guided it there.
Between code and imagination, a new space emerges.
What Remains Is a Feeling
The result is not a likeness. It is a feeling. Just as in photography, the point is not the reproduction of a place but a state. AI only shifts where this state comes from, from the outside world into the imagined.
Why I Still Call It Handwork
The tools change, the attitude does not. Whether camera, brush, or model, in the end the eye decides what stays and what has to go. AI does not make this work obsolete. It only makes it more visible.
