The Letter Case That Doesn't Exist
On September 16 I was sure I had found the right image. A letter case, a shelf with compartments. Each compartment a piece of the company: the voice, the colours, the people, the logo. With every commission a compartment is added. The illustrations were done quickly, and they looked good.
One day later I withdrew it. A shelf is a piece of furniture you put things in and then forget. It fills up, then it is finished. The exact opposite of what I wanted to show.
What stayed is the circle. A saffron circle in the middle of a site plan, with room around it for everything still to come. The centre stays calm. Everything around it may move.
I am showing the letter case anyway. Because it is well drawn, and because a discarded image sometimes explains more than the chosen one.
