Built from Sentences

TraceThought
This story picks up a thread: The fifth note: a page built from sentences.

At midday on September 18, kenala.de went online for the first time: a name, a few sentences, a pointer to me. Shortly afterwards that felt too thin. Anyone coming from my LinkedIn post would stand in front of a sign and not know what happens behind it. So I said: put the LinkedIn text on there too, otherwise nobody will understand it.

Then came the headline, just as I had put it: everything is in flux, constantly changing and developing. Kenala is your DNA that grows with you. Then two illustrations, one with me, one with a client. Every round began with a sentence of mine and ended with a preview.

Twice after uploading, the browser still showed the old version, first for the layout, then for the pictures. The page had long been new, only the browser had remembered the old files. That is now solved for good as well: the stylesheet and the pictures get a label that changes as soon as the file changes.

I did not program a single line along the way. I spoke, looked and decided. Each round only went online after I had approved it in my own terminal. That is what vibe coding looks like for me, and that is exactly how Kenala is set up for clients.

Some tools are finished, one is just taking shape. The dachshund wants to know which.
